  • Are your classes hands-on or demonstration only?

    • All our classes consist of both hands-on and demonstrations depending on the type of classes. In every class, students will be under the close guidance of our passionate instructors. After the class, you will also be able to bring home the final product.

  • What is the skill level of the class? Do I need to have any prior experience  to participate in the classes?

    • Our instructor(s) will guide you through every step and process, ensuring that every student can keep up with the pace of the class. Whether you are seasoned or first timer, everyone will find our classes to be engaging and enriching.

  • Do you offer private or customized classes?

    • Yes. Please contact us for us to find out more to serve you better.

  • Are there courses for professional chefs?

    • No. We do not offer such courses now. 

  •  Who will be our instructors?

    • Our instructor(s) are trained and experienced in their areas of expertise. To find out more, please click here.

  • What is the class size?

    • Depending on the type of class but it is usually capped at maximum 6 students.

  • What language is the class taught in?

    • English is the main language of instruction.

  • What equipment do you provide?

    • Classes are conducted in a fully equipped kitchen and all equipment required for the class will be provided.

  • Do I need to prepare or bring anything to the class?

    • No. You do not need to bring anything to class. All ingredients, utensils and an apron will be provided. Please bring your own storage containers to bake your very own bakes. Any food that you take away should be stored and consumed strictly in accordance with our instructions and guidelines, and we do not accept any responsibility for any food taken away.

  • What is the duration of each class? What time does the class start and end?

    • Class duration range from 2 – 3 hours depending the type of classes. You can find the start and end times for each class on our schedules located here

  • Is the kitchen HALAL certified?

    • The kitchen is not HALAL certified but there is no pork, no lard in the ingredients used. 

  • What should I wear?

    • Please wear closed shoes without heels for your protection. The dress code is casual and comfortable unless otherwise advised. 

  • Are the courses certified?

    • The classes are currently not certified. 

  • What are the class fees?

    • Depending on the complexity of the class, the fees will vary accordingly. To find out the fees of each class, simply browse our schedules here.

  • What do you do with my e-mail and personal particulars?

    • We do not share or sell any data collected from our website. Please see our Privacy Policy.

  • Do you send reminders for classes?

    • A confirmation e-mail is sent to students once they enroll. No other reminders are sent for the class. Please ensure you keep the date in your calendar.

  • I can’t come to class. Can I reschedule?

    • Any rescheduling of classes is allowed with 5 days’ notice period. 

  • What if the class is cancelled by The Bake School? Do I get a refund?

    • In the event of such unforeseen circumstances, the student can opt for a refund or choose a replacement class.

  • Where are you located?

    • Our address is Blk 606A Edgedale Plains #02-02 Singapore 821660, located just above Sheng Siong Supermarket. Kadaloor LRT is near The Bake School and catching the bus is easy with a stop right in front of it. Car drivers can take TPE with a 3-minute drive from The Bake School.

  • Where is the closest MRT Station?

    • Punggol MRT. Take Punggol LRT East Loop towards PE7 Damai and after 3 LRT stops, you will reach The Bake School.

  • Do you have parking and how much does it cost?

    • Parking is located at 661 Edgedale Plains, Multi Storey Car Park WATERWAY SUNDEW, Singapore 820661. Parking fees are $1.20 an hour from Monday to Sunday.
